We have arrived at Logan Square. Specifically, Logan Circle inside Logan Square.
Why is this special?
It is where they used to do the public hangings. There are 5 squares in Philadelphia. They were designed by William Penn to be open space within the city for residents to enjoy. The residents turned Logan Square into the location for the executions.
