Lascours Lockdown, Day 112

Saturday, July 4th. Reopening Day 55. Happy 4th of July!
Maeva made waffles for breakfast. She pretty much did it herself. I think the only thing I did was plug in the waffle iron.
Short errand run to Roquevaire this morning for Laureva's DTP booster shot and some last-minute groceries for tomorrow. Then, I spent the rest of the morning making pizzas. Guillaume joined us for pizza lunch so we could have a bit of American company on the 4th. After lunch, we started a game of Defi Nature at Laureva's request. She's really on a game kick these days. Prior to that, she had played a game of chess with Guillaume.
Sylvain headed out at 3pm for a 40k bike ride to La Ciotat and back. The rest of us headed out to the pool. However, it was a bit chilly due to high winds over the past few days so we didn't stay long. Back inside, the girls played Mario Kart until Guillaume had to leave shortly after five.
Pleasant low-key "holiday" and start to summer.
In Covid-19 news, France has reached a new daily high for active cases (just over 60,000), though less than 1% of those are listed as serious or critical.
