Wednesday morning I watered the yard front and back. It has been cooler lately, but there still hasn't been any more rain, and the forecast has been shifty about precipitation. Maybe it will rain tomorrow night?
Eric wasn't feeling well today, and had at least two bouts of vomiting. I fed him some Pocari Sweat and a banana before bedtime, hoping he can keep it down for the night.
I had game time with my team this afternoon, and we played a newish Board Game Arena game called Paris Connection, formerly called SNCF, about building and investing in the chemin de fer français. It was fun. I'd like to play again.
After dinner Nicole and I watched the recording of the school district town hall about health and safety. They went over the layered precautions and explained some in detail. They answered a few questions from parents with apparently typical concerns. They finally admitted that the one-device-per-child policy is in preparation for the possibility of returns to remote learning, but reiterated that the state hasn't given them the authority to go 100% remote. They also said they're expecting there will be changes, so maybe they will be prepared, despite not having inspired much confidence.
I asked the kids if anyone wanted to go for a walk after that, but there were no takers, so I stayed home, too. I read just a couple pages before Eric's upset stomach randomized me, and I ended up playing Boomerang Fu with him and Lydia before bedtime reading.

Hope Eric feels better. I suppose it's been too long for this to be a bug he picked up at school.
