Wednesday, May 6th. When I wake up in the morning and get out of bed. I really have a Groundhog dayish feeling. "Here we go again!" With no place to go, the morning routine is exactly the same every day. Before, I'd get up at different times on different days and the order of things would shift around a bit. Now, every morning is initially very much the same. Luckily, the days still bring different adventures!
Today was a nice, warm, sunny day with a high of 26°C.
The loaf of sourdough I baked this morning barely rose at all, at any step of the process. First time that's happened in a long time. No idea why. Could it be that T150 spelt flour is not so good for feeding the sourdough?
I received an email after lunch from the City inviting PTA presidents to a Monday morning meeting about school reopenings. Proper social distancing measures are to be respected. I will probably attend.
WhatsApp call with Fred this afternoon to help her with some paperwork. Nice to chat with a friend, even if it was for "business."
Finished my weekly bout of translation correcting. Phew. Now, I'll have to start writing exams.
Girls had their Skype piano lessons at 4:30. Laureva has a hard time understanding the teacher as the sound sometimes cuts in and out. But it went relatively well, given the circumstances.
After piano, I sent the girls out to play in the sun until dinner time. Not sure exactly what they did, but there was a lot of noise, some crying and a bit of whining at the end.

I need a translation of the guacamole lyrics.
Forecast is for 26 or maybe even 27 here on Saturday and Sunday, but today it is 13.
Bravo! Encore!
PS. I like cheese, too.
This is what I heard:
Espèce de guacamole
Espèce de guacamole
Aujourd'hui va manger du guacamole
Mais je ne sais pas où je t'ai caché
Espèce de guacamole
Espèce de guacamole
Guacamole je veux te manger
Mais je ne sais pas où tu es
Espèce de guacamole
Espèce de guacamole
J'adore le guacamole
Je ne peux pas en séparer
Assuming that's mostly correct, I interpret it as follows:
"Espèce de guacamole" literally means "kind/type of guacamole". Slang for "you're such a guacamole", approximately?
Today (we're?) going to eat some guacamole
But I don't know where I hid you
Guacamole, I want to eat you
But I don't know where you are
I adore guacamole
I can't part with it
Thanks, Roy! Très bien.
